SPF Ambassador Programs provide students and adults with disabilities meaningful opportunities to shop for, organize, and assemble care packs while developing leadership, teamwork, self-determination, and community connections through service to others.
What Ambassadors Do
- Shop for groceries and essential supplies used in SPF care packs.
- Organize, sort, and prepare materials for efficient assembly.
- Assemble care packs for people experiencing homelessness and families in need.
- Build leadership, teamwork, communication, executive functioning, and self-determination skills through meaningful service.
- Experience the dignity, confidence, and purpose that come from helping others.
How Programs Participate
- Schools, transition programs, adult service providers, and community groups can partner with SPF.
- The Foundation provides the funding for supplies and training.
- Ambassadors assemble care packs in safe, supervised settings.
- SPF coordinates outreach and distribution.
